Grimdark Grey Knights. I recently picked up my first box of grey knights and I’m looking to paint them in a grimdark style. My main army is necrons which I’m painting in an nmm kind of style with a lot of volumetric highlighting and very ‘clean’ looking, so I want my grey knights to be a completely different project. Spray 100% Nocturne Green from a 45° angle down onto the model and directly from above. (maybe do 2 coats). The last 2 steps will create a natural highlight from above, it’s really subtle. From beneath the model will be purely black and it will gradually move to a dark green when looking from above.

And so im going to apply these on a standard Nemesis Force Halberd, but this can be done on any and all blades.. Firstly i basecoat the whole thing black.
